Beat the Clock Tournament — Official Rules
- No affiliation with Apple. This Tournament is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, this Tournament in any way.
- No purchase necessary. Tap2Win is free to play. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. There is no entry fee.
- Eligibility. The Tournament is open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and legal residents of India at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. The Tournament is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation constitutes agreement to these Official Rules.
- Tournament period. Each Tournament runs during the period displayed in-app for that Tournament (the "Entry Period"). Sponsor's system clock is the official timekeeper.
- How to enter. During an active Entry Period, open the "Beat the Clock Tournament" in the app and play as instructed. No fee is charged to enter.
- Winner determination — game of skill. The Tournament is a game of skill, not chance. Winners are determined solely by player performance — the accuracy of stopping the clock at the target time and the resulting score — ranked on the leaderboard. In the event of a tie, the player who reached that score first ranks higher.
- Prizes. Eligible winners may receive promotional rewards as described in-app for the relevant Tournament (for example, Gift Vouchers). Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are never cash wired to a bank account — Sponsor never asks for or collects bank, card, or payment details to deliver a prize.
- Winner notification & claim. Winners are notified within 1 day after the Entry Period ends. The first time you win any prize, you'll be asked to confirm your age and country of residence in-app (a one-time check, not repeated on later wins) before it's released; if you don't meet it, that prize is forfeited and not reassigned to another player.
- Taxes. Any taxes or charges associated with a prize, including any tax withholding required under Indian law, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- General conditions. Sponsor may disqualify any participant who tampers with the app, uses bots/automation, or violates these Rules or the Terms of Service. Sponsor may suspend, modify, or cancel a Tournament if fraud, technical failure, or any factor beyond its control compromises fairness, subject to applicable law.
The sections below apply program-wide — Group Tournaments, Private Tournaments,
and Coin redemption — in addition to the Beat the Clock Tournament rules above.
Eligibility
- You must be 18 years of age or older to win, be awarded, or redeem a prize or voucher.
- You must be a resident of India. Prizes and Coin-redemption vouchers are currently offered to India-based players only.
- Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Soft Solutions are not eligible to win tournament prizes.
- Void where prohibited by law.
Anyone may download and play Tap2Win for fun regardless of age or location; this
eligibility section applies specifically to receiving a prize or voucher of real
value.
The first time you win a prize, we'll ask you to confirm your age and country of
residence in-app before it's released to you — a one-time check, not repeated on
later wins. If you haven't completed it yet, your prize simply stays pending until
you do. If you confirm you don't meet it (for example, under 18 or outside an
eligible country), that prize is forfeited and not reassigned to another player.
How tournaments work
Tap2Win runs skill-based tournaments (Ultimate Challenge, Group Tournaments, and
Private Tournaments). Players compete by playing timed games; each run is scored
on in-game performance (speed and accuracy). Rankings are determined
entirely by skill — there is no random drawing, chance element, or
wagering of real money involved in determining a winner.
Group and Private Tournaments may ask players to stake Coins (earned in-app
currency, never purchasable) to enter; the top-ranked player(s) at the end of the
tournament window receive the Coin pool and/or the tournament's advertised
voucher prize, as shown in the app at the time of entry.
Coin redemption
Separately from tournaments, players may redeem their accumulated Coin balance
directly for a gift voucher from a partner brand shown in the app's Redeem Coins
section, at the Coin cost listed there at the time of redemption. This is a
straight exchange, not a contest — every player with enough Coins can redeem,
subject to the daily redemption limit shown in the app.
Prizes
- Prizes and redemptions are gift vouchers from the partner brand shown in the app. We never ask for or collect bank account, card, or payment details to deliver a prize.
- The exact prize value and brand for a given tournament or redemption offer are shown in the app before you enter or redeem — that is the controlling description, not any example given elsewhere.
- Vouchers are delivered to your account's Voucher history in-app, typically within a few days of a tournament ending or a redemption request, and carry the expiry shown at the time of issue.
- If a declared winner is later found ineligible (for example, under 18 or outside India), that prize is forfeited and is not reassigned to another player.
Taxes
Any tax owed on a prize or voucher under Indian law is the winner's sole
responsibility.
Changes & disputes
We may update tournament formats, Coin costs, or voucher offers at any time; the
terms shown in the app when you enter a tournament or redeem apply to that entry.
We may update these Official Rules as the app changes — we'll update the
effective date above when we do. Our decisions on scoring, rankings, and prize
eligibility are final.
